EVENTS

New Student and Parent Orientation

Orientation is required for all new students. Plan to attend an Orientation event closest to you. You must be present for the full three hour event where you will be given your login information and some helpful tips on being a successful online student.

 

Please bring a laptop, if you own one. We will have a limited number of laptops that may be shared during this event.

Mission

The mission of the SC Whitmore School, a virtual charter high school, is to encourage students to be personally committed to, and responsible for, their education. This enables them to develop independence, responsibility, time management and critical thinking skills.

We are dedicated to providing a supportive, challenging, alternative learning environment throughout South Carolina. South Carolina Whitmore School emphasizes mastery of all academic courses and results in students achieving their educational goals.

 

 
 

Our online high school curriculum is provided by CompuHigh, an educational institution nationally accredited by AdvancEd .

SC Whitmore Whitmore school is public school authorized by the SC Public Charter School District. All 9-12 grade full-time students under the age of 21, who reside in SC and who can provide proof of SC residency, are eligible to attend SC Whitmore School.
